Hope Sisters are My Hope Bag volunteers who personally deliver HOPE Bags. Hope sisters are breast cancer survivors, or caregivers, who understand the value of their visit with a newly diagnosed breast cancer patient. During the one-on-one visit with the bag recipient, the Hope Sisters lend a caring ear for the bag recipient to talk about what she is going through with someone who has been there. Hope Sisters do not give any medical/legal advice or treatment recommendations. They do, however, share their journey and provide the kind of support only a fellow breast cancer survivor could.
If you are interested in becoming a Hope Sister, please fill out our Volunteer Form and we’ll let you know when the next training is scheduled.
