My family and I started My Hope Bag after my own journey with breast cancer. While going through my journey, I thought women needed to have a bag of HOPE for fighting this disease. It is our heartfelt desire to help answer questions, comfort and encourage others and help lighten their load while facing the fight of their life.
My Hope Bag has reached out to over 2,000 women since it’s inception. Every bag of HOPE delivered means one more person knows that she is loved and cared about by someone who understands what she is going through. I am currently co-chair on the Hope Sister program where we are training other survivors to be able to reach out to women with a bag of HOPE and comfort.
We have over 40 years of professional experience and have always enjoyed helping others. Being a wife and mother of three wonderful children, and a grandmother to the most fantastic young man has been the biggest enjoyment of my life. It is my desire to be able to move My Hope Bag into a full-time occupation so that more time may be devoted to helping others.
