I learned about My Hope Bag from a friend who volunteered while battling cancer. After she passed, I began volunteering in her memory. I was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2019 and went through most of my journey
during COVID, which was especially difficult with my family overseas due to travel bans.
Being a Hope Sister and Board Member means a lot to me—I never want anyone to feel alone during their journey. When I deliver bags, I connect deeply with the women I meet, many of whom just need to connect with someone who understands.
I work full time as a Special Events Director and love bringing joy to others, which carries over into my work with My Hope Bag. In my free time, I enjoy reading, traveling, and spending time with my husband and two sons.
