Laughter filled the room, bingo daubers were ready, and excitement was in the air as My Hope Bag kicked off the first Bingo for Boobies 2026 event on March 20, 2026, at the beautiful Hilton Garden Inn Tempe.

The evening began with Session 1 at 4:00 PM, where guests gathered for one of Arizona’s most anticipated community fundraisers supporting women and men facing breast cancer. Hosted by crowd-favorite bingo caller Matt Ruppert and his wife Carolyn — affectionately known as the evening’s “official number picker” — attendees were immediately swept into an atmosphere filled with energy, laughter, and heartfelt purpose.

A Night of Bingo, Prizes, and Community

From the moment the first bingo number was called, guests eagerly followed along, hoping to be the next person to shout the words everyone was waiting to hear:

“BINGO!”

Throughout the evening, attendees played multiple rounds of bingo while competing for an incredible lineup of prizes donated by generous community supporters and local businesses.

The event brought together breast cancer survivors, supporters, families, volunteers, and community members for a night that was equal parts fun and meaningful.

The Crowd-Favorite 50/50 Raffle

One of the most anticipated highlights of the night was the always-popular 50/50 raffle.

Guests enthusiastically purchased raffle tickets throughout the evening, knowing their donations directly supported the mission of My Hope Bag. Half of the raffle proceeds benefited My Hope Bag’s programs and services, while the other half went home with one lucky winner.

The Pink Tutu Tradition Returns

When raffle donations reached a special fundraising milestone, Matt Ruppert once again delighted the crowd by stepping into the spotlight wearing his now-famous pink tutu.

The playful tradition has become a fan-favorite moment at Bingo for Boobies and perfectly represents the joyful spirit and sense of community that makes the event so special year after year.

From cheers and laughter to photos and applause, the pink tutu moment reminded everyone that even while supporting a serious cause, moments of joy and connection matter deeply.
